International Conference on Multivariate Approximation
September 24-27, 2011

Venue

This year, the conference has moved to a new location, as "Haus Bommerholz" is no longer in operation. The new location is the Arcadeon Conference Center on the outskirts of the city of Hagen. The Arcadeon is slightly larger than the previous venue. It offers full board accomodation in a modern setting and optimal conference facilities. We are sure that we will experience the same comfortable atmosphere so familiar to the previous Bommerholz conferences.

The Arcadeon consists of two separate buildings located about 150 meters apart. The rooms in the conference house are slightly more modern than in the Landhotel building. All meals and talks will be held in the conference building.

The hotel is located in a valley in walking distance to the river Lenne. It is surrounded by a small park and situated in a rural environment, though the industrial "Ruhrgebiet" is only a short distance apart.

All rooms are equipped with a desk, phone, TV and free Internet access.

Reservations are made by the organizers of the conference. We ask you to give us some preliminary information of your preferences concerning your stay at the conference. We need this information for further planning. At this point, your registration is not binding. We will ask for a full registration at a later date.

Please fill our pre-registration form by going to the registration tab on the left. You can choose from the following options. The rates are per day per person. They include full board accomodation, i.e. breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch and dinner.

* Arcadeon Conference Center Single Room 131 Euro
* Arcadeon Conference Center Double Room 113 Euro
* Arcadeon Landhotel Single Room 119 Euro
* Arcadeon Landhotel Double Room 99 Euro

For local participants, who do not need a room at the Arcadeon, there is a daily charge of 35 Euro including lunch and coffee breaks.

Participants are asked to acquire travel reimbursement from their home institutions. Due to the higher rates (as compared to Haus Bommerholz in 2008), the organizers will try to cover parts of the cost of your accomodation.
